Who is Sofia Vergara?

Sofia Vergara is an actress , comedian, model and entrepreneur. She was born in Colombia. She went to University of Colombia but dropped out after a year to follow in modeling and acting. She is most known for her work on the TV show Modern Family and has starred in several other productions.

Why is she important?

I think she is important because used her cancer diagnosis as inspiration to donate and support organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.She also made a breakthrough in the acting community as a hispanic woman.
